i am Fang Ting:
Hadley-Hullettian from HH08 Team Rocket! Currently in class 09S03K. As you know, I take BCME. I was from St Nicks and was a Girl Guide. Now I am in Wushu and Debate. Oh and most of all, I am a HOWDYHUFF HERO of RJC! Basically I am a cheerful person. (Come what may, we brighten your day!) whee haha. I would just like to say that I strive very hard for my goals and I do not give up easily from them when the going gets tough. About my beliefs in leadership, I feel that leadership is actually a service because the ultimate result is the benefit of the people. I think the difference is that in leadership there is an added element of initiating, where you gather the courage to take the first step in doing things. Leadership without the element of service will merely be tyranny. And yes, we the Howdyhuff heroes try to follow through with this, by listening and hearing your say, and then we will serve you by saving the day! My hobbies are getting freebies and shopping for things that are cheap and good and on sale! (OMG I sound so PCK) But when I am more serious I also enjoy watching stars in the night sky and reading up on Black Holes. This is because since young I have been fascinated by the celestial bodies. Did I tell you that my kindergarten ambition was to be an astronaut? :P

I dreamt of Council since last year. It is a privilege to lead and make a difference for a student body, returning the two years’ worth of nurturing through service, especially to RJC, where my passions lie. In doing so, I will be able to forge an experience so strong that even when we look back years later, it will still remain undiluted in our memories. Council will be able to grant me this journey of a lifetime where I will gain experience and strengthen friendships, all allowing me to learn and grow as a person. The sense of accomplishment I can achieve is priceless. Running for council is also a challenge I took upon myself to stand up on my own to reach beyond my limits, a goal worth fighting for. But for now, the main reason is just that I would like to serve RJC, the school that I love. I wish to see the Rafflesian spirit blaze so bright and strong to the point that whenever i think of my school, I will feel a great sense of pride and joy and hold it dear to my heart. I wish that I can be given the chance to ignite the Rafflesian Spirit with my own hands, and I hope that you can give us this chance by voting for us, and making my dream come true. Vote now! Oh i still have not mentioned my reason for choosing Blossom to represent me. the answer is...cos she's SEXY REDHEAD!!! Just joking. Actually, it's because even though she is fun loving and sweet, she does have her serious moments. She is focused on her task and is a great leader, making decisions intelligently. She is also an unselfish friend with a stroong sense of justice. I am gearing myself towards this area of personal development, and i hope that these traits will be more refined in me. Oh and also because, like me, Blossom's hair is in a perpetual high ponytail that curls a little at the ends :)
